Syntropy, a prominent provider of Web3 data infrastructure, undergoes rebranding to Synternet.

Syntropy, a data provider dedicated to the future of Web3, announced its rebranding as Synternet. This rebranding involves not only a visual makeover but also signifies a deeper alignment with advanced technological developments. By synchronizing its outward identity with its progress and vision, Synternet positions itself as a true Layer-1 blockchain, essential for powering the data infrastructure of a unified and adaptable Web3 landscape.

Daniel Haudenschild, CEO of Synternet, emphasized that the rebranding is not just a cosmetic change but a declaration of their bold vision for the future of blockchain. He stated that by providing the data infrastructure for Web3, they are laying the foundation for a more open, interoperable, and innovative decentralized web. CTO Jonas Simanavicius added that their engineering team has been focused on building the technology to make the Synternet vision a reality, and they are excited to invite the world to build and scale their dApps on their network in the coming months.

The rebranding will not affect the NOIA token, which will continue to operate on the Ethereum network without any required action from token holders. Synternet has also promised several key developments in the coming months, including launching the Synternet Blockchain on mainnet, establishing a robust infrastructure for real-time, cross-chain data streams, introducing a token bridge between Ethereum and Cosmos for seamless value transfers, and implementing enhancements to improve the publisher and developer experience on the network.

Syntropy was initially designed to transform how data moved across the internet by leveraging blockchain technology. As the Web3 ecosystem evolved, the need for interconnected blockchains became more apparent. With the launch of the Synternet mainnet, the platform’s transformation into a powerful Layer-1 project that links isolated chains into an interoperable network is now complete. Synternet has assembled a talented team of over 50 Web3 professionals and has gained support from over 16,500 token holders and leading blockchain-focused VCs who have pledged $10 million in funding.
