INTMAX, a leading sponsor at EDCON Tokyo and an innovator in Layer 2 zkRollup technology with a stateless architecture, has revealed the PlasmaCon event, according to recent updates shared with Finbold on June 7th.
PlasmaCon is scheduled to coincide with EDCON Tokyo 2024, the prestigious Ethereum (ETH) development conference, which will be held at the United Nations University in Tokyo on July 31st from 12:30 to 17:00 local time.
The event will feature a lineup of esteemed speakers, including Vitalik Buterin, the Co-founder of Ethereum, Justin Drake, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, Barry Whitehat, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation and PS, among others.
PlasmaCon aims to gather some of the most brilliant minds in the crypto industry to explore cutting-edge approaches to scaling Ethereum, privacy solutions, stateless architecture, and related subjects.
The revival of Plasma, an Ethereum scaling solution introduced by Joseph Poon and Vitalik Buterin in 2017, adds significance to the discussions. Leona Hioki, the Co-founder of INTMAX, emphasized the importance of revisiting Plasma, Statelessness, and Privacy at the upcoming event in Tokyo on July 31st.
The event will host up to 400 attendees and feature more than 15 experts from around the world, sharing insights on various topics from Plasma’s resurgence to privacy, data availability challenges, blobs, recursive ZKP, and dApps on Plasma.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders, pose questions, and engage in discussions with the speakers.
PlasmaCon will explore key themes crucial for the future of Ethereum and blockchain technology, including scalability solutions for Ethereum, privacy enhancements, and diverse application use cases of blockchain technology across different industries.
