INTMAX reveals PlasmaCon Event scheduled for July 31 in Tokyo
INTMAX, a leading sponsor at EDCON Tokyo and a pioneer in Layer 2 zkRollup technology featuring a stateless architecture, has recently unveiled the PlasmaCon event, according to the latest information shared with Finbold on June 7th.
Set to coincide with EDCON Tokyo 2024, the prestigious Ethereum development conference, the event will be held at the United Nations University in Tokyo on July 31st from 12:30 to 17:00 local time.
PlasmaCon will showcase a lineup of esteemed speakers, including Vitalik Buterin, the Co-founder of Ethereum, Justin Drake, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, Barry Whitehat, also a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, and PS, among others.
PlasmaCon aims to gather some of the brightest minds in the crypto space to explore innovative approaches to scaling Ethereum, privacy solutions, stateless architecture, and related topics.
With Plasma, an Ethereum scaling solution introduced by Joseph Poon and Vitalik Buterin in 2017, making a resurgence, the event holds particular significance.
Leona Hioki, the Co-founder of INTMAX, emphasized the renewed relevance of Plasma, stating: “It’s time to let everyone know that Plasma is not dead—it’s even stronger than it was in 2018! PlasmaCon brought together incredible thinkers and visionaries who have transformed the entire tech industry. Now, it’s time to revisit Plasma, Statelessness, and Privacy. Join us in Tokyo on July 31st!”
The event will host up to 400 attendees and feature more than 15 experts from around the world, sharing insights on a variety of topics ranging from the revival of Plasma to privacy, data availability challenges, blobs, recursive ZKP, and dApps on Plasma.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders, ask questions, and engage in discussions with the speakers.
PlasmaCon will delve into several key themes crucial for the future of Ethereum and blockchain technology. Topics will include scalability solutions for Ethereum, privacy enhancements, and various application use cases of blockchain technology across different industries.
The event will be held at the United Nations University on Aoyama-Dori Avenue in Tokyo, Japan, on July 31st.
